Photos from a voyage to Antarctica

I feel extremely lucky to have set foot on Antarctica (the tiny part ‘they’ allow you to visit along the Peninsula, that is). We went as passengers on a Russian research ship and, after a bout of seasickness crossing the Drake Passage, the waves gave was to a tranquility that was quite staggering.
