Sunrise over The Quiraing, Isle of Skye
Whenever I’m on the Isle of Skye I make sure I spend some time in The Quiraing, usually very early in the morning before any tourists are around.
The name Quiraing comes from the Old Norse phrase Kví Rand, which means Round Fold – it is thought that locals hid their livestock within the fold from Norse invaders.
Here are some photos I took on my mobile phone of sunrise over The Quiraing, Isle of Skye.
